Taking it Personal
Do you have someone you can count on to tell you the truth? The real truth, and nothing but the truth. I hope so. We all need friends like that. Please don't ask me to remind you of anything, it will not end well. I'll forget, and the only thing you'll remember is asking me to remind you of something we've now both forgotten. My older friends frequently post memes on social media poking fun at the memory challenged. Like television commercials targeted at the elderly, they are becoming less laughable and more relatable. Fan or Follower?
Identifying someone's favorite sports team can be pretty easy. That is, if they're really a fan. The more committed the fan, the more evidence of their loyalty. Team colors proudly displayed throughout the home, on their vehicles, and perhaps a closet full of t-shirts, jerseys, hats, and various accessories. When it's game day, there's no question whose side they're on. But wearing a jersey doesn't put you on the team.
